New Delhi News (25/06/2026): In a major step toward promoting domestic industry, strengthening business networks, and advancing the vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav (BVM) 2026 is scheduled to take place from August 12 to 15, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Positioned as one of India’s largest integrated trade and business platforms, the event aims to bring together manufacturers, traders, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, startups, and consumers under one roof.
Held under the theme “Made in India. Made for India. Made for the World,” the four-day mega event seeks to highlight India’s manufacturing capabilities, innovation ecosystem, service excellence, and export potential while creating new opportunities for business expansion and global partnerships.
A Unified Platform for Business Growth
BVM 2026 has been envisioned as a nationwide movement to strengthen domestic commerce and encourage collaboration among Indian businesses. The event aligns with the broader national objective of building a self-reliant and developed India by creating stronger supply chains, expanding market access, and fostering entrepreneurship across sectors.
Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has emphasized the importance of strengthening business-to-business relationships within the country, stating that Indian enterprises should increasingly become suppliers and customers for one another. According to him, such collaboration can significantly contribute to India’s economic growth and self-reliance.
Organizers expect the event to attract participation on an unprecedented scale, with:
More than 1,000 exhibitors
Over 2 lakh business delegates
Around 10 lakh consumer visitors
More than 5,000 international delegates
Participation from 10+ Central Ministries
Representation from 10+ States and Union Territories
Support from 500+ trade and industry associations
The scale of participation is expected to make BVM 2026 one of the largest business gatherings ever organized in the country.
The event is being jointly organized by two of India’s most influential trade bodies.
The India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), operating under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, brings decades of experience in organizing international exhibitions and trade events. Headquartered at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO has played a pivotal role in developing India’s meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector.
Joining hands with ITPO is the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), a leading traders’ organization representing more than nine crore traders and approximately 48,000 trade associations across the country.
Wide Range of Industry Sectors
The exhibition will feature a diverse mix of industries, reflecting the breadth of India’s economic landscape. Participating sectors include textiles and apparel, fashion and beauty, home décor and lifestyle products, FMCG and consumer goods, agriculture and food processing, renewable energy, engineering and manufacturing, infrastructure and construction, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, tourism and hospitality, information technology, electronics, logistics, financial services, education, skilling, manpower development, and several other emerging industries.
From traditional manufacturing sectors to technology-driven businesses, the event aims to create opportunities for networking, partnerships, sourcing, and investment.
Focus on Innovation, Startups and Inclusion
A series of specialized pavilions and business forums will be among the major attractions of BVM 2026. The Industry Knowledge Hub will host conferences, seminars, and expert-led discussions focused on industry trends, policy developments, innovation, and business growth strategies.
The event will also facilitate high-value B2B meetings, enabling exhibitors and delegates to connect with potential buyers, investors, distributors, and strategic partners through curated networking sessions.
One of the highlights will be the Startup Pitch Arena (India Edition), where emerging entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present innovative business ideas before investors in a competitive, investment-focused environment inspired by global startup showcases.
Dedicated Platforms for Women and Differently-Abled Entrepreneurs
BVM 2026 will place a strong emphasis on inclusive entrepreneurship through dedicated initiatives. The Naari Vandan Pavilion will celebrate women-led enterprises by providing a platform for female entrepreneurs to showcase innovation, craftsmanship, products, and business ventures.
Meanwhile, the Ability Expo will serve as a specialized business platform for differently-abled entrepreneurs and MSMEs, highlighting their achievements and creating opportunities for growth, networking, and market expansion.
Celebrating India’s Culinary and Cultural Diversity
Visitors will also experience India’s rich cultural heritage through the Indian Food Festival, featuring traditional cuisines and regional specialties from across the country. The festival will showcase authentic dishes representing various states and culinary traditions.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the event will host cultural performances, entertainment programs, celebrity appearances, promotional activities, and consumer engagement initiatives throughout the four days.
Expanding Beyond India
Organizers have outlined ambitious plans to expand the Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav model beyond the national capital. Future editions are proposed for major Indian cities including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kolkata, creating a network of regional business festivals.
The initiative also aims to establish international editions across key global markets such as the United States, Europe, Africa, Australia, Russia, the UAE, and Southeast Asia, further strengthening the global presence of Indian businesses and products.
