BIMTECH Director Dr. H. Chaturvedi Delivers Keynote Address at AACSB Asia Pacific Annual Conference

Dr. H. Chaturvedi, the esteemed Director of Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), recently took the stage at the three-day Asia Pacific Annual Conference of AACSB held at the Grand Prince Hotel, Osaka Bay in Japan.

The conference, a convergence of minds from Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and India, served as a platform for over 300 directors, deans, and professors to share insights and experiences in the realm of business education.

As a distinguished member of the Conference Advisory Committee, Dr. Chaturvedi had the privilege of delivering a compelling Keynote Address on the theme “Leading Boldly,” drawing from his extensive 24-year journey as the Director of BIMTECH. The address not only showcased his leadership prowess but also provided a unique perspective on navigating the challenges and triumphs of steering an institution of higher learning.

Prominent Indian institutions, including IIMs (Kozhikode, Amritsar, Ranchi), ICFAI Business School, Jaipuria Group of B-schools, SDMIMD, and GLA University, were active participants in the conference, contributing to the rich exchange of ideas.

Dr. Chaturvedi seized the opportunity to engage with regional and global leaders within the AACSB community, an accrediting body for business schools worldwide with approximately 1000 accredited institutions. Notable meetings included interactions with Dr. Lily Bi, President, Dr. Geoff Perry, Senior Vice President, Ms. Amy Memon, Head of South Asia, and various deans and directors from prestigious institutions, including IIM Kozhikode, Asia Business School Malaysia, GLA University, SDMIMD, and Amity Global School, among others.
