he National HRD Network (NHRDN), an apex body of the HR Professionals has ranked Birla Institute for Management Technology (BIMTECH) at 6th spot among private business schools in the country.

These rankings emerged as part of a nationwide survey conducted by NHRDN, the third in a series, and published by People Matters, a leading HR magazine. In the combined ranking of public and private business schools BIMTECH has been ranked at No 15.

Following are the rankings of top 10 private business schools in the latest NHRDN-People Matters Business School Ranking 2015 Survey.

The National HRD Network, that has over 13,000 members spread over 40 chapters in the country, was joined by the People Matters, a leading HR magazine for its 3rd ranking of B-Schools in India.

Parameters where BIMTECH has ranked ahead of others include: Leadership and Governance (No 1); Campus Life and Infrastructure (No 5); Accreditation and Linkages (No 7) and at No 8 in Corporate Connectedness. This ranking is of significant importance because it has been carried out by a national body of HR professionals and recruiters.

BIMTECH has been placed ahead of its compatriots like TISS, Mumbai; TAPMI, Manipal; XIM, Bhubaneswar; SIBM, Pune; Fore School in Delhi.

The NHRDN and People Matters B-Schools Rankings – 2015 has bought out leadership and governance of BIMTECH by ranked it at No 1 among all top 50 business schools.

The ranking was carried out following a rigorous 5-step process of inviting business schools to participate, initiating survey, and validation of data by analyst team and visit by industry leaders, cross checking of pedagogy and governance by interviewing deans, faculty and students and preparation of final tally.

In all 19 business schools from West, 17 from North, 8 from South and 6 from Eastern India emerged in the final list of 50 Business schools.
