BJP ally JDU protest at Parliament Street for speedy talk to address Naga issues

New Delhi: Demanding speedy dialogue by the Union Minister to address the Nagaland issues, members of Janta Dal United Nagaland (JDUN) staged a protest at Parliament Street Monday morning.
Janta Dal United (JDU) is an ally of BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and has collision government in Bihar and Nagaland. The recent Nagaland accord has no addressed their entire issue. Since it the creation of Nagaland, naga people have been demanding a separate Naga state or greater Nagaland, where people of naga community can be in one boundary.

Speaking with the Ten News, Nagaland, JDU chief, Lotha NSN said, “Separate Naga state is our long demand and the current government has promised to fulfill it. The dialogue between Central government and North-east states to address naga issues is on but it is very slow.”
He further said, “We are here to demand for speedy and healthy dialogue by the Union Minister so the issue can be resolved before 2019,” NSN said.
JDU general secretary and Nagaland in-charge Affaque Ahmad said, “Don’t think we are protesting against the government. We are demanding for speedy dialogue. We have also sought appointment from Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to meet and handover our demands.”
