Dr. Udit Raj, National President of All India Confederation of SC and ST Addressed Press Conference in Delhi

The National Executive meeting on Sunday was organized  under the aegis of the All India Confederation of SC / ST organizations from 10 am to 5 pm in the Speaker Hall, Constitution Club, Under the leadership of Dr. Uddit Raj, the National President of the Federation. The office-bearers and key workers of the Federation were joined from all over the country. The purpose of the meeting was to prepare for the rally next month, the rally will be organized on December 4, 2017 at Ramlila Maidan, Delhi, in which millions of Dalit and Backward Classes from all over the country will be involved.

Addressing the Executives and Media, Dr. Udit Raj said “Like every year this Rally will also include in lakhs of people belonging to Dalit and Backward Classes, I urge those Dalit brothers and sisters from all over the country to join their rally and raise their voices. There are many such states where persecution is being increasingly with the Dalits, if nothing is done soon, then it will be difficult for Dalits to remain in the society. After all, the voice of the dalits will be suppressed. For thousands of years, injustice is being done to us and continues to be so far”

He Further Stated “Reservation given by Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar as a security cover with us is the only weapon through which we can save our identity. What will we do if our only right of reservation is taken away? People of our society are neither the owners of big miles nor the owners of any TV channel nor in any kind of business. If the Dalits still do not wake up for their rights then their existence is in real danger. Our major issues in this year’s rally will be the termination of contractual practice and reservation in the private sector”
