Delhi, August 31, 2022: Seven BJP MPs from Delhi on Wednesday wrote a letter to Delhi L-G Saxena seeking a probe to be launched into the claims made by AAP MLAs to “buy” the party members.

The letter, which has all seven MPs as signatories, read, “You may be aware of the malicious, false, misleading, and diversionary statements issued in the public domain by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, and other AAP leaders to the effect that their MLAs got calls from the BJP that they were offered huge amounts of cash to transfer their allegiance to BJP.”

“This is an obvious attempt to divert the attention from their obvious involvement in the liquor and classroom scam among others. We, the MPs of BJP, are aggrieved at these grossly defamatory and unsubstantiated allegations. Accordingly, we request you to get a comprehensive inquiry conducted by a competent authority for the truth to come out for the people to see”, they further added.

BJP MP Paresh Verma also said that the AAP MLAs claiming to have been offered 20 crores by BJP should undergo a lie detector test.

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari added that the allegations of AAP MLAs being offered money to quit their party should be immediately investigated.
“AAP MLAs are constantly changing their statements regarding the excise policy”, he said.

The seven BJP MPs held a press conference in Delhi on Wednesday morning and demanded a probe into the allegations made by the AAP leaders.
