BJP RAISES 5 QUESTIONS TO AAM AADMI PARTY.

Delhi BJP is contesting Assembly Elections to form a stable Government in Delhi with the objective of its all round development and making Delhi a world class smart city but on the other the Aam Aadmi Party is trying to mislead the people of Delhi by making false promises and on the basis of rumors.

Addressing a Press Conference at Delhi BJP office today Union Minister Shri Anant Kumar said that BJP is raising 5 questions to the AAP and its Convener Shri Arvind Kejriwal because he continues to mislead the people of Delhi by his deceptive campaigns but he dose not answer any question of the people or any political party directly.  He also said that some of these questions may be old questions but the AAP has not answered to these questions. Hence it is necessary to raise them again and again till he answers.

Q.1         VAT ki Raid, Traders Frustrate: Aam Aadmi Party has repeatedly claimed to be a well wisher of traders of Delhi and has tried to show as if the 49 days period was a glorious period for traders of Delhi but the truth is just opposite. The traders of Delhi suffered maximum corrupt extortion during the 49 days under the threats of Raids.

A RTI reply has brought out that Delhi traders faced 151 Raids by VAT Department between 1st Jan to 14thFebruary, 2014. Out of this 51 Raids happened in January while during the last days of the Government between 1st Feb to 14th Feb, 2014, 100 Raids were conducted in 9 working days. Almost 11 business premises were Raided every day and the terror was so much that VAT officials extorted a lot.

AAP should tell how they claim to be well wishers of the traders?

Q.2         Aam Aadmi Party election campaign claims record collection of Rs. 5666 crores revenue during 49 days but the truth is something else. A RTI reply has exposed the falsehood of the claim. The reply tells that between 1st Jan to 15 February only Rs. 2033 crore came as total revenue to the Government of Delhi. This is not even half of the amount AAP claims to have collected.

AAP should tell how they claim to have made record collection of Rs. 5666 crores revenue and to whom are they selling these misleading claims?

Q.3         Before the 2013 elections AAP repeatedly promised to end the contractual employment schemes in the Government. They promised sky to Government employees especially Safai Karamcharis and Guest Teachers in the form of immediate regularization after Government formation.

But once in power during 49 days of Government let alone regularizing a single employee not even a File was moved in the Delhi Secretariat to regularize even as both the Safai Karamcharis and Guest Teachers sat on Dharna outside the Secretariat. The Government of Dharna Walas took no cognizance of their rightful Dharna. Now again they are claiming to regularize employees in their campaign.

AAP should tell why are they befooling the Safai Karamcharis etc. with the misleading campaign?

Q.4         AAP during its 2013 election campaign repeatedly promised to conduct Audits of Discoms Accounts but the truth of the 49 days Government was totally different. They forgot ordering any audit of Discoms accounts and issue of reducing the power tariff. Instead they gave hard earned public money as subsidy to fill the coffers of Discoms by diverting the funds of SC/ST Welfare Fund and Hospital Welfare Funds.

AAP should tell Delhi why they did no audit?

Q.5         AAP during its 2013 election campaign repeatedly promised to bring down power tariff by 50% but the truth was they forgot it altogether. They gave subsidy to people on consumption up to 400 units but even this brought down the power bills of lower end consumers only by 35%.

The middle class bills in fact went up due to higher tariff imposed on consumers of 401 units.

AAP should tell what was the funda of reducing the power tariff?

We hope that the Convener of AAP who claims to be honest will answer these questions honestly.
