BJP WORKERS PAY FLORAL TRIBUTES TO DR. SAHIB SINGH VERMA
New Delhi, 15th March. Delhi BJP’s workers including State President Shri Satish Upadhyay today joined the family members of former Chief Minister of Delhi Late Dr. Sahib Singh Verma in a Hawan organised on his Birth Anniversary at his Samadhi called Swabhiman Sthal at Gheora Moud. Family members present included his son Shri Parvesh Verma MP & brother former Mayor Shri Azad Singh.
Senior Delhi BJP leaders Shri Sidharthan, Shri Manoj Tiwari MP, Shri Vijender Gupta, Shri Ravinder Gupta, Shri Mohan Bhardwaj, Smt. Rekha Gupta, Shri Jai Prakash, Shri Kuljeet Chahal, Smt. Kamajeet Sehrawat, Shri Satender Singh, Shri Rajkumar Grover, Shri Jayender Dabas, Shri Hukum Singh and others joined the Party President in paying the tributes.
On the occasion Shri Satish Upadhyay said that all his life Dr. Sahib Singh Verma worked for the betterment of Delhi more so to uplift the rural and urban poor. As a Chief Minister he tried to do the most for the betterment of the farmers and others residing in the rural belts of Delhi. The network of schools and other development activities today seen in rural areas is a part of his vision two decades ago. Shri Upadhyay said that it is a matter of pride that Dr. Verma’s son is carrying on his mantle with true earnest and serving the people of Delhi as a Member of Parliament.
