BMC Elections 2017 Live Updates: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Elections 2017 are taking place on February 21 and the results of the same will be announced on February 23 – it is called the richest civic body in the country having a budget of over Rs 30,000 cr. However, despite the riches, the public faces problems for as basic a commodity as water. Promises have been made by parties for an uninterrupted supply (24/7) but that has not happened. For the first time, BMC election is witnessing a fight between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena, other parties that fighting along are Congress , Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
