#BMCpolls : Mayor to be elected today, BJP votes for Sena candidate, MNS absent

Shiv Sena candidate Vishwanath Mahadeshwar will be elected as Mumbai’s Mayor on Wednesday. The mayoral election will be held in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation at 12 pm. The special general body meeting of 227 newly-elected corporators will elect mayor by show of hands. The mayor’s or Mumbai’s first citizen’s tenure is for two and a half years.
