BOM ED Asheesh Pandey talks of growth plan, outlines tech fueled modernisation of banking services

27 December 2022, Delhi: Bank of Maharashtra on Tuesday conducted a Customer outreach program in the presence of Executive Director Asheesh Pandey, BOM Delhi Zonal Manager Chitra Datar, Deputy Zonal Manager Rajeev Kumar and Noida Zonal Manager Bikram Tripathi.

During this event held at Maharashtra Sadan, Delhi, Executive director Pandey shared the growth journey of the Bank of Maharashtra as well as talked about the technology fueled modernisation of the services. He also mentioned how the Bank of Maharashtra is growing every day and fulfilling the dreams of people with its services.

“We have made sure that we make our bank a better place for our customers. You must be observing the adequacy ratio of our bank which is the benchmark for the industry itself,” he said.

Talking about their goals for the future, he said, “We are not competing with others because the Bank of Maharashtra has only one aim, and it is to be the best version of ourselves. We are aiming to be better in the next quarter as well.”

Asheesh Pandey also reveals how they are planning to implement technology in the banks to make their operations even smoother.

“Banking industry was lagging earlier in technology but we spent 800 crores on IT and next year we will cross 900 crores only on IT so you’ll be sitting at your home and opening your account or you can apply for the loan in the similar fashion,” he said, adding, “The website is the real mirror of the bank. We are going to bring Artificial language and Machine learning for a better user experience. We will try to make everything better for the common people as well. As a public sector bank, we will make sure, we are contributing to the country, not just the business class but also the service class.”
