A Book ‘Dismantling India – A 4 Year Report’, Reviewing of 4 years of Modi-fied India Launched in Capital!

New Delhi: A book launch and panel discussion on Saturday was held at the constitution club of India, New Delhi. The book “Dismantling India a 4 years Report” was launched by the experts John Dayal, Shabnam Hashmi, Leena Dabiru.

The First Panel discussion ‘Rising Hate and Irrationalism’ Majorly discussed about the four years that the BJP-led NDA-II has been in power with Modi as Prime minister.

The panelist, Gauhar Raza, Souradeep Roy, Subhash Gatade and Vidya Bhushan Rawat spoke about, Achhe Din, good days and said,

“Achhe Din have turned into an unending nightmare. What has exacerbated is the hate, the fear on the ground, and the targeted violence. ‘Lynching’ is the new word heard in a country where fraternity an Secularism were the bywords of governance and life. ‘Demonetisation’, ‘Gau Rakshak’. and “Anti-National” are the omnibus terms which spell the devastation of the economy, the new non-constitutional cadres enforcing a privat law, and how the ruling dispensation looks at political opponents, academics, students, artists, scientists, trad unionists and civilsociety.”

The Second Panel Discussion on
“Disposessed India & Fading Rights”, where the Panelist, Karen Gabriel, Kavita Krishnan, Nikhil Dey, Usha Ramanatha and Vijoo Krishnan, while discussing said,

‘Anti-national“ is the most heard Word in India today. the Report says. Union ministers and party leaders use it to describe members of the parliamentary Opposition, as well as men and women in trade unions, students and teachers in universities, dissidents and independent thinkers in Akademies of Art and Literature, and the few who are write speak in the Media.”

After the Book Launch and Panel Discussions, Ten News Caught up Exclusively with Congress leader and former Diplomat Mani Shankar Aiyar. When asked about Shashi Tharoor Remark on ‘Hindu Pakistan’, he said, “If BJP Wins in 2019 it will take us further down than Pakistan. But i don’t think so it will happen till the bjp don’t get two third majority in the Rajya Sabha and atleast half the states of the union.”

Speaking to Ten News, Shabnam Hashmi, Social Activist on talking about the reports in the book said,

“This Report rests best in its analysis of data in the public domain, a reality check of the claims of the prime minister whose electoral victory also partly engined by his appeal to the emerging aspirational class, and the educated youth of employment, prosperity and a better life. In 2016-17, actual jobs created were 4.1 lakh as against the BJP’s electoral promise of creating one crore jobs annually.”
