New Delhi (27/11/2024): SOYUZLEGPROM representatives will attend an event with the participation of the Indian delegation From November 19 to 21, 2024, a high-ranking delegation consisting of officials of the Ministry of Textiles of the Government of India, Indian business associations of the textile industry and individual companies will be in Moscow. It will be headed by Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles of the Government of India Rajiv Saxena.
The delegation includes, among others: Secretary (Industry) of the Government of Bihar Bandana Preyashi, Vice-Chairman of MATEXIL (Man-Made and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council) and Managing Director of Banswara Group Shalin Toshniwal, Executive Director of MATEXIL Ravi Kumar, Managing Director of Times Fibrefill Sumit Mall, Joint Director of FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) Amit Kakkar , Dr.Ashma Begum , Chairperson World Women Organization , State Committee Member of MSME (Assam ) , Director International Relations ,University of Science & Technology Meghalaya ,and others.
The delegation is arriving in Moscow to discuss potential trade cooperation between India, Russia, and the EAEU countries in the textile
sector, especially in technical textiles. In addition, in Moscow, everyone is invited to take part in a “road show”, which will feature a major presentation of the Indian textile industry, as well as Indian new technologies and opportunities. The event will also be attended by representatives of SOYUZLEGPROM.
And on November 22, SOYUZLEGPROM President Andrey Razbrodin will meet with representatives of the Indian textile industry in St. Petersburg. It is expected that documents will be signed on building long-term relations.
