Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the result of compartment exam and as low as 27.59 percent of students of Class 10th and merely 40.43 percent students of Class 12th cleared the exam in their second attempt. The results have been declared on the official website of BSEB, matricresult.bsebbihar.com and interresult.bsebbihar.com. In Class 10th and 12th Compartment Exams, a total of 1,61,645 students and 43,002 students appeared for the compartmental exam respectively. According to some resources, looking at the pass percentage for class 10th examination conducted in the month of November; there has been a dip from 69.54% last year to 27.59%.
The chairman of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Anand Kishor told that in order to avoid malpractices, the entire procedure for the result was digitized. CCTV cameras were installed at the centers of exam to monitor all the activities during the exam. The answer sheets were bar coded. He added that “Those, who have passed their compartment examinations, will have their mark-sheets available online.”
