BSNL JTO Telecom Recruitment 2017 through GATE 2017: Online Applications Begin today, fill form on externalbsnlexam.com
Mar. 6, 2017: BSNL had notified earlier that the recruitment to the Junior Telecom Officer (Telecom) or the JTO (T) would be done on the basis of the GATE 2017 score this year. The notification released last week specified the intent of BSNL to hire 2510 JTO T this year across the various circles of the country. The notification was released on Friday. The Online Applications for the same begin today. Interested candidates can register on externalbsnlexam.com.
Candidates are further notified that no recruitment exam or interview would be conducted for finalizing the recruitment. The BSNL would prepare a merit list on the basis of GATE 2017 scores released. The results for GATE 2017 are expected to release next week on March 17. Candidates, however, need not wait for the results to release and can start the application forms. Candidates would be required to provide their GATE 2017 Registration number while filling the Online Application Form for JTO (T).

Before filling the online application forms, candidates are advised to clearly check the eligibility criteria as well as the age limits as mentioned in the notification. It is important to note that fee would be made online. Candidates would be given an opportunity to counter check the details filled in the forms after the applications close. Please remember that the mode of selection is through VALID GATE SCORE-2017 which has been conducted by IIT Roorkee, in the month of February 2017. Also, candidates must note that they can select only one circle while registering for the BSNL JTO (Telecom) posts. Candidates would be required to serve in the circles applied till they are not promoted to All India cadre. BSNL, however, retains the right to post a candidates to any circle it chooses.
