Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau has tested positive for coronavirus following a trip to the United Kingdom. Sophie will be in isolation for the moment, while he himself will be in self-isolation for 14 days. However, the Prime Minister is not exhibiting any symptoms of illness himself.
“Out of an abundance of caution, I too will be self-isolating and self-monitoring…But I‘ll be busy working from home…I will be speaking with some world leaders and joining ministers for a Cabinet committee discussion on COVID-19,” PM Trudeau said. Canada has alone reported around 140 confirmed cases of coronavirus.
