Capital’s first COVID-19 patient recovers fully, condition still to be monitored at home

Delhi, 15th March: Delhi’s first coronavirus patient was discharged from a Delhi hospital on Saturday after fully recovering from coronavirus.
The person was the first in Delhi to test positive for the virus.
The person, a 45-year-old businessman from Delhi’s Mayur Vihar had thrown a birthday party for his son at a five-star hotel before he was isolated on March 1.
“The man who was the first one to test positive of COVID-19 has been released today. He is totally asymptomatic now. We have asked him and his family to still continue monitoring his condition at home. Our teams will also do a follow-up,” a top official from a Delhi hospital said about the patient.
