On Tuesday it was declared by BCCI that “The legand Indian Captain M.S Dhoni” retired from test Cricket. According to board he did this to focus on One day & T-20 matches.

The news spread like jungle in a fire, the announcement was done in the form of media statement by Cricket Board.
Board shared “ He is one of the finest captain in Indian Cricket history, though we respect his decision. In his leadership India became the No 1 team in the Test rankings. We wish him good luck for further matches”.

Sachin Tendulkar tweeted “Well done on a wonderful carrier in test matches. I always enjoyed in playing with him. Next Target World Cup 2015 my friend.”

He played 90 test matches, 224 is the highest score with 6 centuries and 33 fifties. He has been holding his captainship from 2008. And Melbourne test was his last match. He was a great wicketkeeper and captain throughout his carrier.

But its strange he didn’t declared this news by himself. He not even uttered a single word after the award distribution ceremony and press coinference held at Melbourne. Questions are being raised What was the actual reason to retire from test? Why Cricket Board announced the retirement?. Was it a pressure of losing match in Melbourne or involvement in IPL fixing.

Though we can say, Captain cool decision comes as a huge surprise for everyone.
