Captain Mithali Raj claims Women’s Cricket is now making a global presence

Indeed, it is amazing to see such kind of reception. It is first of its kind for all of us, said captain of Indian Women Cricket team Mithali Raj on Thursday in New Delhi during a felicitation ceremony for the squad.

I am sure that the girls have also enjoyed being received like that and hoping to receive same gesture in the future. It is just the start of good times for women’s cricket, she added.

With the immense response to women’s cricket this year, Mithali felt positive about a league for women cricketers, she was of thought that there is a need of more exposure to the Women’s Cricket in India.

Captain Mithali Raj was interacting with media in New Delhi and was optimistic for positive future of Women’s Cricket not only in India but on global scale.
