Case registered in Lucknow against web show for hurting sentiments, four police personnel leave for Mumbai
Following a complaint regarding alleged hurting of religious sentiments through an OTT show, a team of four police personnel has left for Mumbai for investigation.
This comes after social media was abuzz with rumours regarding a show, Tandav, on Amazon’s Prime allegedly hurting sentiments over portrayal of a Hindu God.
An FIR in this regard was registered at Hazratganj Police Station against the makers of web series ‘Tandav’ and an officer of OTT platform Amazon Prime for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.
