Chandrayaan-3: August 23 to be celebrated as National Space Day, says PM Modi

Bengaluru (26/08/2023): PM Modi reaches ISRO and meets SRO Chairman S Somanath & other Chandrayaan-3 scientists at the ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru today. Modi addresses the scientists at ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network Mission Control Complex.

Prime Minister Modi has announced that the touchdown point of Chandrayaan-3 on the lunar surface will be named ‘Shiva Shakti’. Additionally, Modi mentions that on 23rd August, the Chandrayaan-3 lander touched down on the lunar surface, would be celebrated as ‘National Space Day’.
