Christmas Celebrations at Greater Valley School, Greater Noida

Christmas fever swept over the Greater Valley School once again this year end. Santas, reindeers, Christmas bells, snowflakes and glittering stars made by the students could be seen everywhere. Classes were decorated for the festival with small items brought by the students and teachers.

A ‘Christmas Special’ assembly was presented by Grade 1. Everyone enthusiastically joined in the singing of the Christmas carols along with the performers. The Pre-Primary students were all dressed in the Christmas colours of red, white and green adding to the day’s festivities..

Students also brought small gifts which they exchanged with their class mates. The day was filled with the exchange of Christmas and New Year greetings amongst all the happy, merry and smiling faces.

On this occasion, the Primary and Middle school participated in a Carol singing competition. Each performance outdid the other and made it difficult for the judges to decide the winners. However, Gr 3B and Gr 5 were declared the winners. After receiving their gifts everybody left with a smile on their faces and a song in their hearts.
