City Press Club Faridabad hosts Holi Milan.
This season of colors would be remembered by the media of
Faridabad and also by the who’s who of the district. Laying a new
tradition, the City Press Club Faridabad hosted a Holi Milan on 19th March
2016 at Aravali Golf Club Faridabad. It would really be difficult to recall
a name in the who’s who list of Faridabad who didn’t mark his or her
presence in the Holi Milan. As a change, media was host of the event while
the people who have been acting as host all through these years were the
guests this evening. Breaking the political party barriers leaders from
BJP, Congress and INELO participated in the event. The best thing was that
they celebrated the occasion of Holi Milan in its true will by breaking all
the party barriers and enjoying the evening as the citizens of India.
While from the ruling party side MP Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, CPS Smt. Seema
Trikha, MLA Sh. Moolchand Sharma, District President BJP Sh. Gopal Sharma
and MLA Faridabad Sh. Vipul Goel participated in the festive evening,
Former CPS Ms. Sharda Rathore and Former MLA Sh. Anand Kaushik represented
Congress party in the celebrations. INELO was represented by MLA Nagendra
Bhadana.
Representing the Industries of the city some of the industrialists who took
time to participate in the program included Sh. Arun Bajaj President Laghu
Udyog Bharti Faridabad, Sh. Ravi Bhushan Khatri General Secretary Laghu
Udyog Bharti, Sh. Rajiv Chawla President IamSMEof India, Sh. R.S.Gandhi
from crown group, Mr. Paramjeet Chawla and Sh. Narendra Gupta along with
others. Renowned advocate Sh. Ashwani Trikha was also present in the
program till late night.
From the administration side while Deputy Commissioner Faridabad Sh.
Chandrashekhar attended the program along with his wife, Commissioner of
Police Sh. Haneef Qureshi participated in the celebration enjoying every
moment of it with the media persons. HUDA Administrator Ms. Garima Mittal
also enjoyed the evening. Others from the administration side included DCP
P.C.Panwar and SDM Sh. Mahabir Prasad.
A musical program was held to celebrate the evening with Sham and Party
playing the festive songs that made most of the present to tap their feet
on the music. Ms. Sharda Rathore, former CPS and Mr. Gopal Sharma district
president BJP recited Traditional Holi songs from Brij. Krishan pal Gurjar,
Haneef Qureshi, Moolchand Sharma, Anand Kaushik, Lalit Nagar, and Seema
Trikha gave their voice to many popular tunes to make the evening more
musical. MLA Vipul Goel tried his feet on the musical notes along with the
friends from Media. People from all walks of life marked their presence in
the program.

One of the best features that made this program a unique one was that none
of the artificial colors were used. Instead flowers were used to greet the
visitors along with applying chandan on the forehead of all the visitors.
