Cleared projects worth Rs 1.5 lakh cr: M Veerappa Moily

Environment Minister M Veerappa Moily today said he has cleared projects worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore since he took over the additional charge of the Ministry last month.

The key approvals accorded include the one for Posco’s USD 12-billion steel plant in Odisha.

Moily, who took over the additional portfolio last month from Jayanti Natarajan, plans to clear the backlog before end of the month.
