In a fresh twist in regard to ongoing farmers’ stir, Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that Delhi Chief Minister and party head, Arvind Kejriwal has been put under house arrest.
“Delhi Police has put CM Arvind Kejriwal under house arrest ever since he visited farmers at Singhu Border yesterday,” tweeted Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)
However, issuing a quick clarification, Delhi police said that security personnel have been deployed around the CM house only to ensure order and the Chief Minister hasn’t been placed under house arrest.
