Lucknow, June 27, 2025: On the occasion of International MSME Day, Uttar Pradesh took a significant leap forward in promoting entrepreneurship, global trade, and local manufacturing excellence, as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled the Curtain Raiser of the 3rd Edition of UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025 at Lok Bhawan Auditorium, Lucknow. The Occasion was graced by State Ministers, senior officials of UP Government, including Cabinet Minister, MSME, Khadi and Village Industries, Sericulture Industries, Handloom and Textile, U.P.; Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Commissioner, Finance; Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary, MSME & Export Promotion and K. Vijyendra Pandian, Commissioner & Director, Industries, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Organized under the joint initiative of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML), the third edition of UPITS is scheduled to be held from September 25–29, 2025 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. The show will highlight the state’s exceptional growth in the MSME sector, showcasing its diverse ODOP products, manufacturing capabilities, export-ready clusters, and infrastructural advancements to a global audience.
In his address, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reaffirmed the state’s commitment to transforming Uttar Pradesh into a global trade hub, crediting the MSME sector as the backbone of economic progress. Chief Minister lauded UP International Trade Show, saying, “The UP International Trade Show is a true reflection of the remarkable growth and limitless potential of Uttar Pradesh’s MSME sector. The overwhelming success of the past two editions has reinforced our belief in the entrepreneurial spirit of our people. As we prepare for the third edition, we look forward to welcoming global buyers to witness and source the finest products that represent the strength, skill, and tradition of our state.”
While addressing the event, Cabinet Minister, MSME, Khadi and Village Industries, Sericulture Industries, Handloom and Textile, U.P. highlighted the state’s proactive policies and initiatives aimed at strengthening MSMEs, supporting start-ups, and enhancing global market access for local enterprises by promoting export and global trade.
The event began with a welcome address by Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary, MSME & Export Promotion reiterated that UPITS has evolved into a flagship platform reflecting the aspirations of entrepreneurs, exporters, and innovators of the state.
The ceremony also witnessed the launch of several youth- and industry-centric initiatives:
• Launch of CM YUVA Mobile App and screening of a short film on the scheme
• Inauguration of ‘Youth Adda’ at Kisan Bazaar, Lucknow to foster youth-led entrepreneurship
• Distribution of allocation letters to entrepreneurs at industrial estates
• Virtual inauguration of ODOP CFC projects in Bareilly and Moradabad
• MoU exchange between Directorate of Industries and Human Welfare Association, Varanasi for increasing GI tagging of UP’s unique products
• Cheque and toolkit distribution to beneficiaries under MSME, CM-YUVA, and ODOP schemes
A short film unveiling the curtain raiser for UPITS 2025 captivated the audience, offering a glimpse into the scale, ambition, and global outreach of the upcoming trade show that promises to bring together 2,500+ exhibitors, 1.25 lakh+ buyers, and 4.5 lakh+ visitors across diverse sectors.
With a clear vision of “Innovate, Integrate, Internationalize” for this year, the 3rd edition of UP International Trade Show is poised to become the epicentre of Uttar Pradesh’s industrial resurgence, offering MSMEs, startups, and exporters a world-class platform to network, showcase, and grow.
