Institute of Positivity under the aegis of Council of Royal Roots, is organizing the “Conference On Intellectual Property Rights”, it will be a two-day virtual event on 3rd and 4th Feb 2022, in association with Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University. Our mission is to create IPR awareness amongst 75 thousand students across the 75 Universities & Schools to commemorate 75 years of progressive India.
The session will be inaugurated by The Chief Guest, Dr Dnyaneshwar Mulay, IFS (Former Ambassador & Secretory, MEA) present Member – National Human Rights Commission and the Guest of Honour Professor H.K Chaudhary, Vice-Chancellor, Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University & Special Guest Mr D C Rana, Deputy Commissioner, Chamba.

Intellectual property Right is an umbrella term that includes Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, Designs, Plant variety protection, trade secrets and geographical indications. The objective of the Institute of Positivity is to stimulate a dynamic, vibrant, and balanced Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) system in India through its curated IPR Curriculum to impart IPR awareness, foster creativity and innovation, thereby promote entrepreneurship enhancing social, economic, and cultural development. Virtual workshops on Intellectual Property Rights by the Institute of Positivity have become an effective method of creating awareness amongst young minds and are a milestone towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Vocal for Local and Make in India.
Intellectual Property Rights have become a significant issue of discussion in the last two decades with the establishment of the WTO and the TRIPs agreement on intellectual property rights. Research and Innovation in our country emerge both from industry and academic institutions. In today’s era, where intellectual property rights are globally enforceable, we need to impart knowledge about the different form of IPR protection to the young generation in order to develop a conducive environment where they are equipped to create novel and original innovations and protect them simultaneously.
