New Delhi, 8 November 2022: Adding to the thread of letters, prisoned conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar has issued another letter and declared he was “ready to be hanged” if the corruption charges were false, throwing an open challenge to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who is detained in Delhi’s Tihar jail on suspicion of violating the Prevention of Corruption Act and Money Laundering Act (PMLA), insisted that his allegations were true and claimed that the AAP was pressuring him to drop his complaint to LG Saxena through constant threats and pressure.
“Kejriwal Ji, I’m prepared to be hanged if any of the concerns I made with the Delhi LG turn out to be unfounded, as you and your allies claimed. But if the accusation is validated, you will step down and leave politics forever,” Chandrashekhar wrote in his most recent letter.
In response to the AAP’s accusations that he was “spreading lies,” he continued, “I kept quiet and ignored everything but due to your constant threats and pressure through the jail administration and Jain asking me to give funds during Punjab and Goa polls, brazenly even though I was undergoing investigation,” he added.
In his letter, Sukesh questioned why, if his earlier complaint was false, the jail administration was pressuring him to remove it. “Why did Jain keep requesting that I retract my complaint, Kejriwal Ji? Why did I feel intimidated all the time? Why is scepticism a fear? If you’re being honest, what are you afraid of?” he questioned.
