New Delhi: In a bizarre case, A woman and a man misbehaved and manhandled a traffic police cop on being stopped for not wearing helmet, in Delhi’s Mayapuri, last evening.According to the police, the two were heavily drunk. Case has been registered against them on complaint of the traffic police personnel.
In the clip, the Anil Pandey and Madhuri can be seen raging after traffic police halted their vehicle. The woman, who was pillion rider, became furious when the police stopped them as the scooterist wasn’t wearing a helmet. She also snatched the vehicle’s key and caused a nuisance in the road, resulting in traffic jams.
The woman pleads to be allowed to go claiming her brother died, traffic cops insist on “side me lagao” for not wearing helmets. Two wheeler driver Anil Pandey and pillion rider Madhuri, who misbehaved & manhandled a traffic police cop in Delhi’s Mayapuri yesterday, were arrested last night.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, North West, Vijayanta Arya, said there were three persons on it, including two men and a woman.
The vehicle was impounded and he was fined, he said, adding that they were stopped for checking at 5:30 pm.
Police said when the traffic police officers were seizing the scooty, the men started misbehaving and obstructed officials from performing their duties.
