Crescent School of Business (CSB) is pleased to announce that admissions are open for the 2nd batch ofits flagship program -the one-year Post Graduate Diploma in Strategy & Leadership.
TheFounding batch of the programme began classes in September 2016. The class is comprised of bright, young professionals from diverse educational and professional backgrounds looking to further their careers. They include tax analysts, financial specialists, and enthusiasts from the automobile,manufacturing, insurance and real-estate sectors.
CSB’s new-age management programme has been designed to meet the needs of dynamic business landscapes. The unique course design at CSB will mould students into well-rounded, self-aware and balanced leaders.The unique course design involves maximizing practical learning opportunities and mentorship by industry professionals with extensive experience.
The curriculum brings together the best possible content from across the world. Course material includes exclusive material from Harvard Business Publishing, containing core foundational concepts and business frameworks taught at the Harvard Business School. The Business Foundations Specializations (BFS) and Business Analytics are two fundamental credit courses for all students, which will be assessed by application oriented projects. The course covers Marketing, Accounting, Operations & Finance and is offered by the Wharton Business School.
Faculty for the program come not only with stellar academic credentials to their names but also a much-neededpractitioner’s perspective that comes from years of work experience, thus ensuring cutting edge knowledge and application. This is combined with intensive professional mentorship delivered 1:1 by senior business leaders.
In addition to distinguished academic and practitioner faculty members,CSB has constituted a CXO advisory board, which is a pioneering initiative in terms of real-time industry-academia collaboration. The board comprises of leaders and members from some of the top Businesses and Industries in the region and the country. Through visiting faculty, guest sessions, workshop and seminar facilitators, students have the opportunity to engage with thought leaders, business experts and entrepreneurs. A small cohort size further ensures sustained focus on imparting sophisticated soft and transferable skills to each learner.
First-round admissions for the PGDM beginning in July 2017 are open till 15 December 2016. The program is targeted at professionals and requires applicants to have a minimum of 2 years full-time work experience. CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT scores are preferred but not mandatory. Selection will be based on verbal, written and analytical skills.
