DALAI LAMA’S 81st BIRTHDAY ON JULY 6AT TIBET HOUSE

Chanting of prayers by Budhist monks along with prayers for long life by representatives of various sects and plantation of saplings will mark the 81st birthday of Tibetan Spiritual leader His Holiness Dalai Lama on Wednesday July 6, 2016 at Tibet House, the cultural centre of H H Dalai Lama.

According to Ven.Geshe Dorji Dandul, Director Tibet House “chanting by Tibetan Monks from Drepung Loseling ,Laxmi Nagar Monastery and prayers by representatives from Sikh, Bahai, Jain, Christian, Hindu Islam, Jewish, Bahai and Budhist faith for his Holiness long life mark the celebrations.”

“This will be followed by Plantation of saplings at Tibet house from 10 Am till 11.30 AM.”he added
