DDMA Conducts Covid-19 Review Meeting, LG, CM Kejriwal Attend

New Delhi, 22 September 2022: On Thursday, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) is holding a meeting to discuss the Covid-19 situation and evaluate the resources used in hospitals to fight the virus.

A senior government official announced on Wednesday that the DDMA meeting would assess the COVID-19 situation in Delhi at 4 p.m today, to assess whether manpower and infrastructure at the hospitals should be scaled down or maintained further will also be done at the meeting,

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, and Lt. Governor VK Saxena, who is also the chairman of the DDMA, will also be present at the meeting.

It is being noted that manpower, including doctors and healthcare workers, and infrastructure, such as beds, are remaining under- or even unutilized as a result of Delhi’s low COVID-19 positive rate and lower hospital admissions.

The officer suggested that these resources might be made available for other medical requirements.
