New Delhi, 14th Sept. A delegation of engineering students from all over the country living in Delhi to prepare for engineering job examinations today met Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay. They apprised him of their problems caused by sudden change of rules in Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) employment policies and requested him to take up their cause with the Centre Government.

The students said that PSU’s by aliening job opportunities for B.Tech and other engineering students with GATE exam have restricted suitable job opportunities. Getting a job for an engineering student has become a single opportunity affair.

They said that GATE is actually an entrance test for higher education in engineering and linking job opportunities to it is a great injustice to B.Tech graduates.

Shri Upadhyay assured them that senior party office bearers with student politics background will study their demands and soon take it up with the Union HRD Minister Smt. Smriti Irani.
