DELHI BJP APPEALS TO THE AGITATING MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES TO WITHDRAW THEIR STRIKE IN THE WIDER INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE OF DELHI

New Delhi, 4^th Feb.  Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay and the Mayors of the three Corporations Shri Subhash Arya, Shri Ravinder Gupta, Shri Harsh Malhotra have appealed to the agitating Municipal Employees to withdraw their strike in the wider interest of the people of Delhi.

 Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay in a letter to the Employees Associations sent through the three Mayors has said that the Municipal Administrations understand their problems and we are trying to workout a solution despite the rigid attitude of the Delhi Government.

 Letter says that after the intervention of the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Delhi, the Kejriwal Government has released some funds though morally & technically in a wrong way. Today Government has indicated that it is willing to give a little more money. Therefore in the interest of the citizens and the employees we feel it is necessary that the deadlock ends. We therefore appeal to you to immediately withdraw the strike. Delhi BJP will continue its political struggle to get the benefits of 4^th Delhi Finance Commission for the Corporations.
