New Delhi, 11th Dec: Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta on Sunday resigned following party’s defeat in the MCD election 2022. The Aam Aadmi Party on December 7 ended BJP’s 15-year-rule in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD)
Gupta said, “Taking the responsibility of the defeat, I have given my resignation to the national president.”
Gupta had recently announced that the MCD mayor will be from the AAP and the BJP will play the role of a “strong opposition”.
