Delhi BJP Holds Prayer Meetings for the Injured & Deceased in Kerala Mishap

DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION SHOULD TAKE SUO-MOTO COGNIZANCE OF SUCH MAJOR PUBLIC FUNCTIONS AND ENSURE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AT THE VENUE

New Delhi, 11th April. Delhi BJP organized a Prayer Meeting in the Hanuman Mandir situated at Connaught Place of New Delhi for speedy recovery of the injured persons and peace for the departed souls in the tragic incident at Putingal Temple in Kollam District, Kerala.

National General Secretary Shri Arun Singh and Pradesh BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay,National Secretary Shri Srikant Sharma, Organizational General Secretary Shri Siddharthan, MP Shri Manoj Tiwari, Mayor Shri Subhash Arya, Pradesh General Secretary Shri Ashish Sood, Chandni Chowk District President Shri Suman Gupta, New Delhi District President Shri Suresh Sharma &Karol Bagh District President Shri Rajan Tiwari and large number of party workers participated in the Prayer Meeting.

On the occasion Shri Arun Singh said as we pray for the speedy recovery of the injured and peace for the departed souls, we also take a message from this mishap that adequate safety precautions need to be taken at all such mass functions. Paying his tributes, State President Shri Satish Upadhyay said that the Kerala mishap is not a first incident of its kind but it gives us a message that district administrations should suo moto take cognizance of such major public functions and ensure safety precautions at the venue. Offering his sympathy, BJP National Secretary Shri Srikant Sharmasaid that party workers will ensure proper availability of medicine to all the injured.

Various District Units of the party also organized Prayer Meetings in their respective areas. Such Prayer Meetings were organized in Shakti Mandir Yamuna Vihar in North East District under the leadership of District President Shri Raj Kumar Ballan, Iskon Temple Dwarka in Najafgarh Districtunder the leadership of District President Shri Satender Singh, Shiv Mandir in Keshavpuram Districtunder the leadership of District President Shri Sanjiv Sharma, Durga Mandir Loni Road in NaveenShahdara District under the leadership of District President Dr. Anil Gupta, Hanuman Mandir Shankar Vihar in Shahdara District under the leadership of District President Dr. Kanwar Sain, Sri Sai Mandir Khichdipur in Mayur Vihar District under the leadership of District President Shri Virender Sachdeva, Shiv Mandir Bhagya Vihar in Outer Delhi District under the leadership of District President Shri Jayendra Dabas, Prachin Shiv Mandir Bakhtawarpur in North West District under the leadership of District President Shri Vinod Sehrawat, Gaushala in Mehrauli District under the leadership of District President Shri Vijay Pandit, Vishwa Giri Mandir Shivaji Enclave in West Delhi District under the leadership of District President Shri Raj Kumar Grover and at Tughlakabad Shiv Mandir in South Delhi District under the leadership of District President Shri Chhote Ram.
