A 27 minutes feature documentary on Modi Government’s achievements was shown to the people present.

Addressing the gathering Union Home Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh congratulated the people on Vijay Vikas Parv celebration. He said that under the Congress Government the development statics of country had nosedived due to lack of policy making and loot of Government resources by those in the Government. Today we can see India rising morally, scientifically, agriculturally and economically. World economists today certify India as the fastest growing economy of the world thanks to the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi.

He said whenever BJP has come to power India’s GDP has risen like never before. When Atal Ji’s Government came to power, India had a GDP less than 4% but in 2004 it rose to 8%. UPA-1 enjoyed the fruits of Atal Ji’s Government hard work but by the time UPA-2 completed its term, India’s economy was derailed and we were back to a growth rate of around 5%. With a Government headed by a visionary Prime Minister who has streamed lined the decision making in all sectors today India is back to 8% GDP growth. Economists feel that soon India may achieve double digit GDP something not seen even in the western country.

Shri Rajnath Singh said that under the Government of Prime Minister Modi we have checked corruption, stopped the loot of natural resources and stressed on speedy decision making. This has resulted in increased revenue from all sources and the Government is investing the generated financial resources into the speedy development of the infrastructure. We have cleared 25,000 km of Highway project and as a result of good governance Shipping Corporation which was in a loss of 2500 crores in 2013-14 has this year given a profit of 476 crores. With the increased coal production within the country our coal imports have gone down substantially resulting in big foreign exchange savings.

Shri Rajnath Singh said that the charismatic changes that we see today are a result of strong will power and honesty which this Government has. He said that the Government is working for cohesive development of youth, traders, industrialists, women, down trodden and minorities. We have brought time bound schemes for all. Citing examples of changing working style of the government Shri Rajnath Singh said now those showing professional revenue of up to 2 crores need not maintain account books they have to give a simple 1% income tax. For private Doctors the Government plans to tax only half of their actual income while for the Government Doctors their retirement age is being relaxed. To benefit the Advocates and the Citizens Government has discarded many redundant laws and we are investing over 1600 crores to bring E-Courts. It is a reflection of Modi Government’s performance that today 30 crore Indians are getting direct subsidy benefit in their bank accounts.

Concluding his speech Shri Rajnath Singh said I feel proud to be the part of the Government which is trying to fulfil the dreams of Shri Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee to make India the world top economy. He said that the Government of Shri Narender Modi is committed to E-Development for all. We will make India proud with E-Agriculture, E-Courts, E-Commerce, E-Governance.
