DELHI BJP PRESIDENT EXPRESSES HOPE THAT NEW NORTH DMC TEAM WILL MAKE DELHI A BETTER CITY
New Delhi, 18th May. Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari has congratulated Dr. Preety Aggarwal for her unopposed election for the Mayor & Shri Vijay Bhagat as Dy. Mayor of North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Shri Tiwari has also hailed the unopposed election of Shri Tilak Raj Kataria, Shri Jai Prakash, Shri Jayender Dabas and Shri Ramesh Kumar for the standing Committee of North DMC.
Shri Tiwari has expressed the hope that the new North DMC team under Dr. Preety Aggarwal & Shri Tilak Raj Kataria will work to make the city a clean & beautiful habitat.
Shri Tiwari has said that North DMC area consists of the heritage and tourism areas of Delhi apart from the biggest trading centre and on this new team a great responsibility lies to provide good civic services to the residents, businessmen and above all to the tourists who will carry the reflection of a better Delhi countrywide.
Delhi BJP Co Incharge Shri Tarun Chugh, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Shri Vijender Gupta, General Secretaries Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Shri Ravinder Gupta & Shri Rajesh Bhatia, former Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay and outgoing BJP Municipal Leaders Shri Subhash Arya & Shri V.P. Pandey were present during the ceremonial swearing in of new councilors and later the election of Mayor and other offices. The Pradesh General Secretaries & others leaders congratulated the new councilors and expressed hope that they will give a transparent administration.
