Delhi Elections can be scheduled before 21 February: Election Commission

Delhi elections poll can be scheduled in second or third week of February. While announcement likely to be held in January first week. The preparations exercises has already begun for the upcoming elections .

Election Commission source revealed “Soon after the electrol rolls are published in January, we will plan for the Election polls also. Most probably it can scheduled in second or third week of February. Before the Budget session of Parliament.”

Deputy election commissioner Vinod Zutshi with the state chief electoral officer (CEO), district election officers (DEOs) and senior officers of Delhi Police are trying to ensure disputes free election. They will keep eye on the activities of parties, so that they can make election successful.
They are also creating awareness among voters. The electrols rolls will final on January 5. Before that they will check weather candidate name is listed or not.
Security is trained to deploy on polling booth. To avoid any hindrance during the election. All the required management is stated to care of all the tasks.
