Delhi expected to report 20K fresh Covid cases today with a positivity rate of around 19%

New Delhi, January 8: Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain on Saturday said, “Delhi will report around 20,000 fresh cases today, positivity rate to rise by 1-2%.”
“Currently only 10% of hospital beds are occupied in the city,” he added.
Moreover, he also said that no Omicron-related death till now has been reported in Delhi, among 9 Fatalities recorded on Friday, most patients had comorbidites.
The tally of Omicron in Delhi stands at 513, 57 of them have recovered.
Delhi on Friday recorded 17, 335 new COVID-19 cases along with 9 deaths.
