Delhi Government kicks off online yoga classes for Covid patients from today

New Delhi, January 12: Delhi on Wednesday started its first session of online yoga classes for the Corona positive patients in home isolation.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain tweeted, “Delhi govt kicks off the first session of the yoga classes that was facilitated for the corona positive patient’s in-home isolation.”

“This is a brilliant initiative undertaken by the Delhi govt to keep the people engaged in physical activities while they are in isolation,” he added.

There will be 8 classes, each of one hour, from 6 am to 11 am and then from 4 pm to 7 pm under the “Dilli ki Yogshala” programme.

Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said registration links will be sent to patients in home isolation and they can register for the classes according to their convenience.

This comes amid a surge in COVID Cases in the Capital. Delhi on Tuesday recorded 21,259 new cases with a positivity rate of 25.65%
