Delhi govt sanctions 29.59 crore for new medical college
Delhi government has sanctioned Rs 29.59 crore for the construction of temporary pre-fabricated structure with 100 seats in its pursuit to
establish a new Medical College, attached with Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) under the Chairmanship of chief secretary S K Srivastava.
The construction will facilitate intake of 100 students apart from providing infrastructure for addition of 100 MBBS seats in a year to boost medical education in Delhi.
