Amid ongoing blame game between Aam Admi Party (AAP) and Union urban development ministry over allotment of houses for Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, the city government surrendered two duplex houses to Delhi Development Authority (DDA) that were earlier allotted for “CM’s use”.

A senior UD ministry official said that the communication from Delhi government came on Thursday after a reminder went from Nirman Bhawan seeking a status report. “Now there are several options for locating a house and this can be done by UD ministry, Delhi government or even by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC),” said a senior government official.
