Delhi Govt wants to shut TV Channels Which Show Truthful News

Kejriwal behaving like a chaotic fascist –  Vijender Gupta

The Chief Minister of Delhi, Sh. Arvind Kejriwal, while touring states of Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab etc blames Central Govt. for violating fundamental right of freedom of expression. On the other hand, the Delhi govt. itself is going to file a case against three national TV Channel for telecasting news on JNU incident. It proves that the AAP Govt. itself was against freedom of expression. Delhi Govt. wants to shut down the channels who vouch for the truth.

Leader of Opposition, Sh. Vijender Gupta said that it seems that Kejriwal Govt. is not aware about its jurisdiction. This govt. must know  that the right to take action against any news channel lies with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India. Not only this, the TV Channels against whom Delhi Govt. wants to take action, offices of Zee News and News X are located  in Noida and office of Times Now is in Mumbai. Offices of these three channels being in UP and Maharastra, the order of Kejriwal cannot be enforced by these govts. C.M. Kejriwal has been an officer of Indian Revenue Service. He should have known that the order which he is issuing cannot be enforced in other states. Therefore, the action taken by Chief Minister of Delhi is totally unconstitutional.

Talking about the double standards of Delhi Govt., he said that if he has faith in constitutional arrangements, he should have taken the matter to the court or law. This type of disputes can only be resolved by the court, which Delhi Govt. does not want. To gain cheap popularity, Delhi Govt. is harassing TV Channels which show the reality and wants to terrorize by filing cases against them. This conduct of Delhi govt. is as of a chaotic fascist.

Sh. Gupta said that Delhi Govt. has no jurisdiction to take any action against the electronic media who telecast the true news against the Delhi Govt. Delhi Govt. is openly violating the statue and the constitution. As all are aware Sh. Sitaram Yechuri  of Marxist Communist Party  and Sh.K.C. Tyagi of JDU had met Sh. Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minster, Delhi and demanded action against above mentioned news channels. If he was really interested to proceed against these channels, he should have gone to the court of law. Both the leaders are experts in law. If they wanted action to be taken against news channels, they themselves could have gone to the court. By not taking this course the three political parties are only misleading the people against this TV channels which is beginning of a Forum against these TV Channels.

As is well known, slogans against unity and integrity of the country were raised in JNU Complex in presence of JNU Student Union President, Kanahaiya Kumar. Kanhaiya Kumar, himself had also raised anti India slogans and Delhi Police filed a case of sedition against Kanhaiya and produced him before the court. Relying on the evidence produced by the Delhi Police, Hon’ble Court sent Kanhaiya to jail. Hon’ble High Court has granted conditional interim bail to Kanhaiya Kumar for six months. Despite the order of the Court, Kanhaiya Kumar  is openly violating the rule of law by making public speeches against the country by instigating the people to revolt.

Delhi Police is keeping a tab on all activities of Kanahaiya Kumar. Delhi Police believes that Kanhaiya Kumar is acting on the instigation of some political parties. As all know, he is being instigating by some leaders of Communist Parties which are on the verge of extinction. Kanhaiya Kumar is playing in the hands of Congress, AAP, Mamta Banarji, Nitish Kumar, Sitaram Yechuri, KC. Tyagi and Laloo Yadav etc and raising his voice against the nation. He has become a puppet of anti BJP parties. Opposition parties have shown him dreams for him to be a leader and that is the reason he is bouncing by ignoring his studies.
