#Delhi: Gym owner shoots dead journalist who objected to loud music in building, says Police

(Express Photo: Praveen Khanna) A 30-year-old journalist was allegedly shot dead by the owner of a local gym in south Delhi’s Vasant Kunj Sunday night after the two had an argument over the accused playing loud music. The accused, identified as 27-year-old Rinku, shot the victim, Hardeep Singh (30), inside the latter’s apartment, said Additional DCP (South) Surinder Singh.

Hardeep’s friends rushed him to Safdarjung Hospital, where he succumbed to injuries. Hardeep worked as an editor for a journal published by the Inter-University Accelerator Centre, a research institute run by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
