New Delhi, March 23, 2025: The counting of votes for the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) elections has reached 5,996, with the competition intensifying for key positions, including President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Joint Secretary. The legal fraternity eagerly awaits the final results, which will determine the new leadership.
As per the latest figures:
President:
Hariharan is leading with 2,350 votes, followed closely by Kirti Uppal (2,237 votes).
Abhijat has secured 1,097 votes, while Vivek trails with 273 votes.
Vice President:
Sacchin Puri has taken a commanding lead with 3,535 votes.
Shyam Sharma has 1,480 votes, while I.S. Alagh has 841 votes.
Secretary:
Vikram Panwar is ahead with 3,461 votes, surpassing Mohit Gupta (2,281 votes) and Anil Kathuria (116 votes).
Treasurer:
Kanika is leading with 3,535 votes, followed by Zeba Khair (1,590 votes) and Kusum Dhalla (687 votes).
Joint Secretary:
Kunal Malhotra is ahead with 2,586 votes, followed by Anurag Rawal (1,766 votes), Pradeep Gahlot (1,000 votes), and Amit Grover (295 votes).
With counting still in progress, the final results are expected soon. The elections remain highly competitive, and the outcome will shape the future leadership of one of Delhi’s most influential bar association.
