Delhi High Court Bar Association Elections: Final Results Declared, New Leadership Takes Charge

New Delhi, March 23, 2025: The final results for the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) elections have been declared after counting 7,674 votes, with Senior Advocate N. Hariharan emerging as the new President. He secured 2,967 votes, narrowly defeating Kirti Uppal (2,880 votes) and Abhijat (1,429 votes).
In other key positions, Sacchin Puri won the Vice President post with a decisive 4,515 votes, while Shyam Sharma (1,895 votes) and Inderbir Singh Alagh (1,080 votes) finished behind. Vikram Singh Panwar secured victory as Secretary with 4,389 votes, surpassing Mohit Gupta (2,958 votes) and Anil Kathuria (152 votes).
For the Treasurer position, Kanika Singh won with a commanding 4,493 votes, defeating Zeba Khair (2,040 votes) and Kusum Dhalla (895 votes). In the race for Joint Secretary, Kunal Malhotra claimed victory with 3,381 votes, followed by Anurag Rawal (2,222 votes), Pradeep Gahlot (1,199 votes), and Amit Grover (402 votes).
While the election process concluded smoothly, some candidates have raised minor concerns regarding discrepancies in their final vote count. However, the overall outcome marks a significant leadership shift within the DHCBA, with the newly elected team set to take charge soon.
