New Delhi, 7 June 2022: Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor, Vinai Kumar Saxena on Tuesday inaugurated the ‘e-Sanjeevani’ OPD project at the Hindu Rao Hospital under MCD to facilitate the patients seeking medical services through video conferencing.
Owing to the coming of this new tele-consultation technology by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Hindu Rao hospital has become the first hospital to offer medical consultations all day via the eSanjeevani platform.
On this occasion, Delhi L-G, Saxena said that through this technology, lakhs of patients seeking medical treatment across the country can be provided specialised medical healthcare.
Old people and patients suffering from chronic diseases can be helped to a great extent by reducing their hospital visits. Simultaneously, the doctors will be able to deliver timely and quick consultations facilitating better patient and medical management.
