Delhi police Crime Branch Update – PRESS RELEASE DATE -19/09/14

 MURDER WAS A RESULT OF DISPUTE OVER PROPERTY.
 CONSPIRACY OF MURDER WAS HATCHED INSIDE THE JAIL.
 ONE COUNTRY MADE PISTOL WITH TWO LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.

A team of officers of Crime Branch led by ACP K.P.S. Malhotra and consisting of Inspr P.C. Yadav, SIs Sanjeev Yadav, Sandeep, HCs Dinesh, Bijender, Dinesh, Cts. Anil, Jai Parkash, Mohit, Jitender, Pradeep, Sandeep, Sudhir and Satyawan under the supervision DCP/Crime Bhisham Singh have arrested two notorious and dreaded criminals involved in a sensational case of murder of a property dealer, Paramjeet @ Parme resident of Jharoda Kalan, Delhi on the night of 30/31.08.2014 in the area of PS Baba Hari Dass Nagar. One country made pistol along with two live cartridges has been recovered.

On the intervening night of 30/31.08.2014, six persons came in a white Fortuner Car to the house of Paramjit @ Parme, property dealer, at Jharoda Kalan, Delhi. Paramjit @ Parme came out of his house, spoke to the driver of the Fortuner car, sat in the car and went along with them. Next morning the dead body of Paramjit @ Parme was found in a pool of blood at a lonely place on Jharoda Kalan- Mitrau Road with several gunshot injuries. Accordingly a case of Murder and Arms Act was registered at PS Baba Hari Dass Nagar, Delhi.

Information was received that Anoop Dagar @ Malamal resident of Jharoda Kalan, Delhi had dispute over property with Paramjit @ Parme and may be involved in the crime. Anoop Dagar @ Malamaal (aged 30 years) s/o Attar Singh r/o Jharoda Kalan, Delhi was apprehended and a country made pistol along with two live cartridges were recovered from him.

Anoop Dagar @ Malamaal was subjected to intensive interrogation. He disclosed that in the suburban area of South-West District unauthorised colonies are being developed and there are multiple matters of land disputes in the area. The criminal gangs which are in this area for pecuniary gains get involved in property disputes.

In one such matter, deceased Parajeet @ Parme alongwith his other relatives bought land in the village Jharoda Kalan, Delhi for developing an unauthorised colony. They also wanted to grab 3000 Sq yards of Gram Sabha land. Anoop Dagar @ Malamaal and Vikas @ Vicky resident of Jharoda Kalan, Delhi, who is presently in jail for Attempting to kill the then MLA of Najafgarh in the year 2012 also wanted a part of the Gram Sabha Land. However, Paramjit @ Parme and his other relatives objected. Then Anoop Dagar @ Malamaal tried to focibly occupy the land but their attempt was thwarted. Then on 04/08/2014, Anoop Dagar was shot at by fire arm borne assailants and a case of Attempt to Murder was registered at PS Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi. Subsequently, Anoop Dagar alongwith Vikas @ Vicky who is in jail, hatched a criminal conspiracy to eliminate Paramjit @ Parme. They contracted the killing to Rajesh @ Karambir of Bawana. On the intervening night of 30/31.08.2014, Rajesh @ Karambir of Bawana, Delhi came with his associates and took Paramjit @ Parme and shot him on a lonely stretch of Jharoda-Mitrau Road. On the next day the bullet ridden body of Paramjit @ Parme was discovered. Anoop Dagar @ Malamaal has been arrested in this case. Subsequently, Vicky @ Vikas (aged 28 years) s/o Haripal Singh r/o Jharoda Kalan, Delhi was also arrested. He was also brought on Police Custody Remand and interrogated. He corroborated the facts as revealed by Anoop Dagar @ Malamaal.

Further investigation is in progress. Efforts are on to apprehend the other absconding criminals.
