New Delhi, 12th May 2023: Delhi Police on Friday informed that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) had been constituted to probe the allegations of sexual harassment against WFI president Brij Bhushan Singh.
Made before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Harjeet Singh Jaspal, the police authorities revealed the information following the court’s earlier order directing the police to file a status report.
A further status report has been filed with the court that was requested by the public prosecutor not to be shared with anyone considering the nature of the case.
The Delhi Police has filed two FIRs, including one under section 10 of the POCSO Act, against Singh after several female wrestlers demanded the arrest of the trainer.
